Do you like the calendar? I thought it was a good idea. If it's light outside my lady knows it's daytime but she doesn't always know which day it is. She likes to know what I'm thinking so when she comes here to have a look see she'll see the calendar and know the day! Am I good or what?

The fire alarm went off at 0720 hours today. Talk about pain! Humans just don't get how loud sounds are. There was no fire. My people figure that the house got so cold that the switch in the alarm made contact and off the thing went.

It was pretty cold all right. Even with my fur and Geoffie next to me, I was still cold. I think my lady should turn the fan off when it's this cold. I think when it gets below -15 having the windows open is bracing enough. Maybe she'll wisen up for tonight.

That black furry creature my people call kitten doesn't have to sleep in the room with the rest of us. SHE gets to sleep on the chair next to the box with fire in it. SHE was warm all night. SHE gets to sit on my people's laps too! They never let me get on a lap. Personally I think things were better before that black furry pest came. Can't figure out why my lady brought her home.

Wow! What a blowy snowy day! My people were busy moving a lot of stuff around and making a lot of dust. Thank goodness my lady put me out of the house so I didn't have to breathe any of the awful stuff. My brother Geoff came out with me. With the two of us curled together the cold and the snow weren't too bad. I didn't have to hear all the lound noises of the big things they were using. I'm glad my lady knows how much the noise hurts. Lots of people think I'm a big dog with small feelings but not my lady. She knows how soft and sensitive I am in this big furry body. We got to go up in the fields for a while. The wind was big and the snow was coming from everywhere but it felt great to run with the flakes and chase Geoff. I don't run too fast when I play with Geoff because he feels bad when I leave him too far behind. I love the cold. It makes me feel really alive.
